Welcome to the after-eight social club!

We are exactly what it says in our name - a social club that runs various social activities every month throughout the year which include, discos, live bands, dinner dances, barbecues, excursions, guided walks, social evenings, quiz nights - to name but a few. We are based in the Maldon, Essex area with our regular events within easy access to the majority of our members. Whether you are single, married, separated, divorced, a couple or on your own - you are welcome to join us. Membership is only £14 for new members which includes administration expenses as we are a not-for-profit organisation, and £12 for renewal thereafter. You will also receive a regular monthly newsletter and events diary.

The club is primarily for members. Guests and newcomers are welcome and are encouraged to join with the option of a months trial to attend any of our events. There are no age restrictions, however the club generally appeals to the over 40's age group. We have a fairly standard dress code - smart dress for our dances please. We will try to keep you up to date with what is happening so please browse through our pages listed on the left.
